Qualifications

• Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in accounting, finance, or related field.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles and coursework in Financial and Managerial Accounting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing audit engagements for governmental and other clients.
• Gather, analyze, and document financial data.
• Participate in fieldwork, testing internal controls and substantive testing.
• Contribute to working papers and audit reports.
• Collaborate with team members to identify issues and improvements.
• Attend training sessions on auditing standards and practices.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
• Record time and project details in the system daily.
