ATLAS CPAs & Advisors in Cincinnati is seeking outstanding candidates for audit internship positions for the 2027 spring semester. You will support our audit services for local businesses and nonprofits, assisting with analyzing operations, preparing working papers, and participating in fieldwork under supervision.

The role offers exposure to client relationships and the chance to grow into future intern or entry-level roles based on performance.

Qualifications

Two+ years of undergraduate coursework in accounting toward bachelor's/master's degree.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Professional presence and experience with active participation in meetings.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Assist with analyzing operational and financial processes to ensure federal and industry compliance.
Follow strict guidelines regarding file management and client confidentiality.
Assist with the completion of audit engagements.
Learn and be involved with some client relationships along with team members and Client Relationship Manager(s).
Review, document and test internal controls by evaluating compliance with Federal laws and regulations.
Prepare and index working papers.
Perform aspects of client fieldwork relating to auditing engagements under direct supervision.
Completing research and special projects.
