Job summary

MANTECH seeks a Government SAP Security Officer (GSSO) to join our Air Force / Space team at Nellis AFB. The role focuses on PERSEC leadership, SAP/SAPF access, and security program administration within SAP facilities.

Responsibilities include indoctrinating personnel, maintaining security documentation, and ensuring DoDM 5205-series compliance. A TS clearance and SAPF experience are required for success in this critical mission environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of PERSEC experience supporting SAP/SAPF.
• Formal training or direct experience with SAP security programs.
• Working knowledge of DoDM 5205.07 policy series and directives.
• Knowledge of Air Force security directives (JSIG/DCID).

Responsibilities

• Indoctrinate new personnel and debrief on access removals.
• Advise unit leadership on PERSEC matters and SAP access requirements.
• Develop security SOPs for SAPF activities and related safeguards.
• Identify, report and document security incidents per DoDM 5205.07 and ICDs.
• Provide SAP security administration and DoDM 5205-series duties.
• Review security plans and administer SAP Nomination Packages.
• Maintain personnel security folders for individuals.
• Maintain facility security accreditations for each SAPF.

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Government SAP Security Officer (GSSO) to join our Air Force / Space team at Nellis AFB.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Indoctrinate new personnel; debrief personnel when access approvals are removed.
• Serve as key adviser to unit leadership on PERSEC matters and/or SAP access requirements / qualifications / restrictions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive security standard operating procedures outlining the security policies/guidance for conducting classified activities within special access program facilities (SAPF) / sensitive compartmented information facilities.
• Identify, report, and document security incidents in accordance with DoDM 5205.07 Vol 1-4, the Intelligence Community Directives, and applicable service regulations / instructions for collateral requirements.
• Provide overall SAP security administration and management and performing duties outlined in the DoDM 5205-series regulations.
• Reviewing system security plans and other documents developed pertaining to unit security; administers all SAP Nomination Packages.
• Maintain personnel security folders on all individuals.
• Maintain all facility / physical security accreditations for each assigned SAPF.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university. 2 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
• 4+ years relevant/direct experience within PERSEC supporting SAP / SAPF.
• Formal training and/or direct experience with SAP and SAPF security program administration.
• Practical/working knowledge and application experience with the DoDM 5205.07 series.?
• Knowledge of Air Force computer, personnel security, and facility directives (specifically JSIG and DCID documents).

Clearance Requirements

• Must have a current/active Top Secret Clearance
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI-eligible clearance (i.e. DCID 6/4 eligibility)
• Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
• Willingness to submit to a Polygraph.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
