Position Overview

The Government Account Manager will be responsible for sales of the Fujifilm Healthcare Americas Corporation’s (HCUS) full portfolio (Endoscopy, Modality Solutions, and Medical Informatics) to key Federal Government medical treatment facilities, focusing on the Department of Defense (DOD), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Indian Health Services (IHS), and select State agencies within a defined territory. The primary responsibility is to achieve or exceed annual budgets through strategic planning, relationship building, new account targeting, extensive product knowledge, and exceptional customer service. Key decision makers and influencers include Radiology, Biomedical, Women’s Healthcare, and Surgery departments, with call points such as Radiologists, Directors, Biomed Chiefs, Surgeons, and Administrators. The role involves collaboration across HCUS teams to ensure territory coverage and financial targets are met.

Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Bookings and Revenue
  • Meet/exceed sales goals by calling on Government hospitals and facilities, focusing on core HCUS products, installed base conversion, and new customer accounts.
  • Spend 80% of time managing equipment sales in hospitals based on territory plans.
  • Develop strategic business plans for targeting government accounts.
  • Forecast accurately monthly and quarterly.
  • Close sales across the portfolio within assigned geography and accounts.
  • Expand existing business and prospect new opportunities.
  • Participate in customer meetings and strategy sessions.
  • Leverage specialists and sales team for technical and clinical needs.
Customer Intimacy
  • Coordinate customer communication and gather market intelligence.
  • Maintain effective communication between customer and internal departments.
Sales Operations
  • Prepare quotes, contracts, and site configurations.
  • Follow policies and procedures for bookings and quotes.
  • Use CRM tools proficiently to manage opportunities and account data.
  • Lead qualification and closing of sales opportunities.
Cross Functional Collaboration
  • Ensure effective communication across departments.
  • Participate in meetings and special projects.
  • Drive efforts for superior customer experience.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Achieve sales quotas.
  • Collaborate for positive customer experiences.
  • Follow business processes and contribute to team environment.

Other
  • Comply with FDA, ISO standards, and other regulations.
  • Complete vendor credentialing requirements.
Qualifications
Experience
  • 4+ years selling to Federal Government accounts (preferred).
  • 4+ years medical imaging sales experience (preferred).
  • Proven success in strategic selling and closing.
Educational Requirements
  • BA/BS (preferred).
Skills and Other Requirements
  • Ability to meet sales goals and work cross-functionally.
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
Physical Requirements
  • Sitting, using hands, standing, and lifting up to 10 pounds as needed.
Travel
  • Travel up to 80% based on business needs.
