Job summary

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks a Real Estate Specialist to manage real estate products in accordance with the IPMP and PMP. Based in Florida, the role includes oversight of outgrants and disposal of government lands on civil works and military properties.

You will provide technical guidance on leasing, licensing, permitting, and rights-of-way, and negotiate leases at civil works projects with private investors. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience in negotiating leases/licenses/easements or permits and real estate planning.
• Some federal jobs allow substitution of education for experience, for GS-12 level qualifications.
• Time-in-Grade: 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade (GS-11) if previously in a GS role.

Responsibilities

• Quality and technical management of real estate products per IPMP and PMP.
• Manages outgrants and disposal of government lands, resolving encroachments.
• Provides guidance on leasing, licensing, permitting, and rights-of-way on government lands.
• Negotiates leases at civil works projects with private investors.
