Florida Department of Health seeks a Government Operations Consultant II to manage expert witness operations, case intake, and case administration at the Tallahassee region. You will coordinate with expert witnesses, prepare documentation, and ensure timely processing of invoices and purchase orders.

The role requires the ability to maintain confidentiality, work independently, and apply Florida statutes and regulations related to licensing and consumer protection.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of administrative experience, including Microsoft Office, Adobe, and data entry.
• Ability to prepare and format documents accurately.
• Excellent confidentiality and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Receive caseload intake and determine expert needs.
• Coordinate contact with expert witnesses and arrange case reviews.
• Prepare cover letters with questions for reviewing attorneys and relevant information.
• Request necessary authorizations in advance and securely email investigative files and exhibits.
• Process invoices for expert witnesses and code to the correct board office; create POs and track expenses.
• Maintain an organized case-tracking system and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Respond to telephone/email inquiries from experts, the public, complainants, and counsel.
