The Florida Department of Environmental Protection, South District in Fort Myers, seeks a Government Operations Consultant II to provide highly independent administrative support for regulatory and business planning programs.

The incumbent will manage recruitment, personnel activities, staff training coordination, procurement, and fleet management while working closely with district leadership to improve office efficiency and effectiveness.

Formación

• Knowledge of administration, organizational analysis, and business management principles.
• Knowledge of project management principles including planning, scheduling, and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of change management concepts and methods for implementing new or revised systems and procedures.
• Experience with procurement systems and financial management.
• Ability to handle confidential information and coordinate with multiple departments.
• Experience with staff development, training coordination, and human resources activities.
