This Government Operations Consultant III position is located in the Early Steps program within the Florida Department of Health's Bureau of Early Steps and Newborn Screening. The role focuses on fiscal monitoring and oversight of Early Steps programs to ensure compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Part C, and Florida statutes. Responsibilities include financial reconciliation of contracts, technical assistance to contract managers and local programs, serving as a subject matter expert for audits, and conducting onsite and desk review monitoring of Early Steps programs throughout the state.
