Job summary

A government services consultancy is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to manage and enhance a large-scale network project, which includes both wired and wireless infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network management, be familiar with industry certifications, and excel in documentation and communication. This position offers a salary range between $135,611.84 and $184,044.64 annually.

Qualifications

• CWNA Certification or equivalent required.
• BCNE Certification or equivalent required.
• 3+ years experience in disaster recovery plan creation and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve NPS network infrastructure.
• Develop and deliver infrastructure documentation.
• Assess network infrastructure and make recommendations.

Skills

Strong documentation skills

Network security knowledge

Troubleshooting RF and LAN issues

Experience with site survey tools

Knowledge of layer 2 and layer 3 protocols

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Computer Science
