A government services consultancy is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to manage and enhance a large-scale network project, which includes both wired and wireless infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network management, be familiar with industry certifications, and excel in documentation and communication. This position offers a salary range between $135,611.84 and $184,044.64 annually.
Qualifications
CWNA Certification or equivalent required.
BCNE Certification or equivalent required.
3+ years experience in disaster recovery plan creation and implementation.
Responsibilities
Manage and improve NPS network infrastructure.
Develop and deliver infrastructure documentation.
Assess network infrastructure and make recommendations.
Skills
Strong documentation skills
Communication
Network security knowledge
Troubleshooting RF and LAN issues
Experience with site survey tools
Knowledge of layer 2 and layer 3 protocols
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Computer Science
