Job summary

Above The Rest Staffing,Inc. seeks a Data Analyst for a government project in the West Denver area. This 100% onsite, part-time role partners with municipal departments to map workflows, audit legacy databases, and build Power BI dashboards that empower city leaders to make data-driven decisions.

You will write SQL queries, ensure data integrity, and translate business needs into technical specifications. Candidates must reside within commuting distance; relocation and remote work are not

Qualifications

• Strong SQL: write relational queries to extract, clean and manipulate data.
• Power BI: design and maintain interactive dashboards; SSRS is acceptable.
• Excellent communication: present technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
• Public sector experience or ADG/ERP familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with non-technical department heads to translate reporting needs into technical specs.
• Modernize legacy reports by mapping tables and creating interactive Power BI dashboards.
• Write efficient SQL queries (joins, subqueries, views) to extract and clean data.
• Audit new reports for accuracy and document workflows for future users.
