Aprio's Aerospace, Defense, and Government Advisory team is seeking a Manager to lead strategic growth across a portfolio of government contractors. This role supports U.S.

government and defense‑related clients, with opportunities to shape proposals, provide advisory services, and coordinate with internal SMEs. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in National Security acquisitions, BD or program management, and a working knowledge of FAR-based processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in National Security (DoW or IC) acquisition, business development, and/or program management roles.
• Understanding of federal acquisition regulations, contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF, etc.), and FAR and non-FAR based procurement processes (OTs, CSOs, SBIRs).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and artificial intelligence tools, such as Claude, CoPilot, or ChatGPT
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior executives, customers, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Proposal Support: Aid in proposal efforts from RFI/RFP analysis through submission, ensuring compliance and compelling content, to include various technical volumes.
• Program & Acquisition Support: Plan, oversee, and advise on client customer insights and strategic priorities.
• Provide strategic advice to clients on contractual matters during contract award and performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and SMEs to shape strategies aligned with customer needs and mission objectives.
• Support corporate client business processes and SOP.
