Position Overview

As a Management Consulting Manager, Government Contracting Advisory at RSM, you will work with businesses in diverse industries while managing staff to deliver projects on time, on budget, and in line with client expectations. You will work on multiple projects annually, focusing on project delivery, staff development, and identifying new business opportunities. Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to lead client engagements and communicate complex technical matters effectively to management teams.
  • Strong business acumen and high-quality work production.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including delivering executive presentations and business reports.
  • Project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
  • Experience in teaching, training, and coaching staff on technical and soft skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead teams.
  • US citizenship is required.
Educational and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Federal Contracting consulting, with expertise in FAR, CAS, DCAA audits, cost structures, pricing, and GSA schedules.
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills, with the ability to manage resources across multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA or MBA.
