Job Description

Torch Technologies, Inc is looking for a Government Contract Closeout Specialist.

Duties include:

• Working contract closeouts to ensure that all FAR requirements are met.


• Identify and resolve all discrepancies between contract cost and contract billing in order to finalize billing.


• Prepare and maintain paperwork for all contract closeouts.


• Identify and resolve revenue issues.


• Reconcile Billing to Revenue.


• Reconcile Billing to Cost Reports.


• Coordinate de-obligations of funding.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, a related field or equivalent experience.


• 5 years accounting experience as well as billing and government contract closeout experience in a Costpoint environment.


• This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel.


• An ideal candidate should have experience in processing contract closeouts for a variety of contract types and customers.


• Desired candidate should also have a working knowledge of Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs).


• Employee must have good communication skills and be able to work in a team environment.


• Must be able to coordinate easily with other back-office departments including Program Control and Contracts and Subcontracts.
