Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, or actively pursuing completion.
• 0–2 years of public accounting or external audit experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Pursuit of CPA certification encouraged; CPA license a plus.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist in annual audits, focused on local governments.
• Prepare financial statements and contribute to engagement planning.
• Perform technical audit work and on-the-job training.
• Support a positive client experience through professional communication with client staff and management.
• Work closely with the team to identify and resolve issues during audit engagements.
• Contribute creative thinking and curiosity to strengthen client service and firm growth.
