Bradford White is seeking a Government Affairs Specialist to monitor legislative, regulatory, and public policy developments at international, federal, state, and local levels. You will coordinate policy updates and support industry association engagement.

Reporting to the Manager of Government Relations, you will prepare monthly reporting materials, identify compliance matters including data privacy laws such as CPRA and GDPR, and communicate implications to internal teams.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Public Administration, or related experience required.
  • Experience in government relations, advocacy, public policy, legislative affairs, or related field preferred.
  • Understanding of federal, state, and local processes; strong organizational, research, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate within a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must be able to work full-time onsite in Middleville, Michigan; this is not a remote position.

  • Summarize policy developments and communicate potential business impacts to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support the company's government relations objectives.

Job description

The Government Affairs Specialist supports the company's government and regulatory affairs efforts by monitoring and tracking legislative, regulatory, and public policy developments at the international, federal, state, and local levels.
