Job summary

CoBank is seeking a Government Affairs Intern in Washington, DC for a 10-week summer program. You will contribute to advocacy and CSR projects and complete a capstone that adds value to the team.

The role is hybrid, with at least 3 days in the office per week and about 40 hours weekly. Applicants must be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's in Political Science, Government Affairs, or related fields.

Qualifications

• Writers who can craft CSR stories that resonate with policymakers.
• Ability to research and analyze legislation and regulatory developments.
• Experience or interest in political processes and advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Support advocacy and CSR initiatives through diverse tasks.
• Attend and report on hearings, briefings, and events focused on agriculture.
• Perform targeted analysis on legislation to bolster district advocacy.
