Job Description:
Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive financial analysis of labor, staff augmentation, and other direct costs associated with government projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project budgets.
- Prepare and submit accurate, timely invoices for U.S. and international government contracts,
- ensuring full compliance with FAR, contract clauses, billing schedules, and any country- specific requirements.
- Maintain and monitor detailed project budgets, track actuals vs. forecast, identify cost variances, and provide financial insights to leadership.
- Support internal and external audits by gathering supporting documentation and preparing responses to inquiries.
- Assist in the development and analysis of indirect costs in accordance with applicable government guidelines and cost principles.
- Provide support in procedural updates and documentation development.
- Perform other accounting and financial assignments as needed, including special projects, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or 10 years Accounting/Finance experience in lieu of degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Desired Characteristics:
- Knowledge/experience working with government contracts.
- Previous experience supporting government audit.
