Job summary

Mastercard seeks a Manager, Legal Services (Corporate Governance, M&A Integration) based in Purchase, NY. You will bridge transaction execution with ongoing legal entity ownership, supporting governance readiness from due diligence through post-closing integration across global entities.

You will work with Corporate Development, Legal, Treasury, Tax, and Controllers to ensure acquired entities align with Mastercard governance standards and become steady-state owners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent legal governance experience.
• Minimum 5+ years in corporate governance or related legal operations.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance principles and entity structures.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and complex transactions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary governance integration lead for acquisitions, investments, and transactions.
• Coordinate onboarding, governance readiness, and post-close integration activities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to manage governance workstreams throughout the lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate legal entity data, ownership records, and governance documentation.
• Develop integration plans, remediation trackers, and governance metrics.
