TikTok is seeking a Governance Intern to join the Governance and Experience team. You’ll work on real projects with the Region team, gaining exposure to how a global platform designs and enforces rules at scale, including AI‑assisted governance.

The internship includes hands‑on tasks, learning programs, and opportunities to apply knowledge to real challenges. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, fluent in English and Spanish, with strong analytical skills and curiosity.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, Law/Public Policy, or related fields.
• Able to commit to a full‑time internship of at least 3 months (please state your availability in your resume)
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; comfortable working with data
• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment

Responsibilities

• Assist in research on market regulations, industry practices, and emerging risks.
• Support data checks and analysis to monitor governance metrics and identify trends or root causes
• Help review real cases to surface insights that inform policy and enforcement improvements
• Support AI‑assisted governance workflows: e.g. helping test prompts and evaluate the quality of AI‑assisted outcomes
• Help prepare documentation, reporting, and cross‑team communication for governance programs.
