Job summary

Leadout Capital is seeking a software engineer to join the GovCloud Developer Platform. You will help build and maintain a large-scale distributed system and cloud-native services for high-compliance environments, collaborating with senior engineers to implement microservices and secure infrastructure.

You will participate in on-call rotations, write tests, and ensure high availability, resilience, and security compliance while delivering robust onboarding experiences and cloud-native

Qualifications

2–4 years in software development for cloud infrastructure or distributed systems.
Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java.
Experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes.
Experience with Agile, TDD, and well-tested code.
Willingness to learn and collaborate with the team.

Responsibilities

Deliver feature components for high-compliance environments under guidance from senior team members.
Build and maintain microservices and cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Author substrate-aware configurations, modules, and templates based on established team patterns.
Analyze, debug, and resolve standard system issues and support feature delivery with high test coverage.
Participate in the team’s on-call rotation, handling alerts and troubleshooting operational problems.
