Job summary
Salesforce is seeking a Software Engineer - GovCloud to join our Public Cloud engineering teams responsible for a large-scale distributed platform used by tens of millions of users. You will work on concurrency, data management, availability, security, and AI-enabled development workflows.
You will design, develop, and operate microservices with Kubernetes and Docker, implement IaC with Terraform, and contribute to open source tools.
Qualifications
- 3+ years backend software development experience.
- Deep knowledge of Java, Golang, Python, or Ruby.
- Experience with Agile development and TDD.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and security practices.
- Experience with distributed databases and PostgreSQL is a plus.
- AI-first approach to engineering and using AI tools in workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate resilient distributed systems at scale.
- Build cloud infrastructure automation and IaC workflows.
- Write microservices using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Contribute to high-quality, production-grade software with AI tooling.
- Participate in on-call rotation and maintain service reliability.
