Work at client sites as needed with travel opportunities; engage in pre‑audit planning, risk assessments, and collaborative team environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or double major/concentration in Accounting, Information Science, Computer Science, MIS, Information Systems (or other IT-related major), or Business Administration with Accounting concentration.
• Willing to work on-site in Washington, D.C. Metro Area as client needs arise.
• CPA candidate or CPA eligibility highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participate in pre-audit planning for engagements.
• Review client accounting and internal control procedures.
• Execute day-to-day accounting and audit activities at the engagement.
• Assist in performing audit procedures to determine design & operating effectiveness of controls.
• Draft and prepare project deliverables.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Balance multiple projects concurrently and share knowledge with the team.
