Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a Head of Gov Compute Delivery, a Senior Manager, to lead a team of Technical Program Managers delivering billions of dollars of server and GPU capacity for Government regions.

You will own the team, make data‑driven decisions, and partner across software, hardware, supply chain, networking, and finance to scale AI workloads. You will influence priorities up to VP level, recruit and mentor TPMs, and drive cross‑functional alignment with a focus on

Qualifications

• 7+ years of people management experience.
• 7+ years of technical program management experience.
• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules.
• Experience in people management.
• Experience in technical program management.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.

Responsibilities

• Own, through your team, EC2 capacity delivery against global commitments to AWS's largest Government customers and frontier‑AI workloads.
• Produce executive‑visible reporting that drives capacity, capital, and engineering‑investment decisions.
• Set strategy and program structure where none exists, and drive cross‑functional alignment at scale.
• Influence priorities across a diverse set of stakeholders and partners — up to VP level.
• Hire, grow, develop, and retain a team of TPMs; grow senior ICs into future leaders through coaching and stretch assignments.
