Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation in Louisiana seeks a friendly food and beverage server to greet guests, take orders, and deliver meals with a smile. You will use a computerized guest check system, handle payments, and help maintain a clean dining area while providing excellent guest service.

Six months of service experience preferred; must be able to stand/walk for long shifts and lift trays up to 40 pounds. This on-site role offers opportunities to interact with guests in a dynamic casino environment.

Qualifications

Six months of food and beverage service experience preferred.
Working knowledge of food and beverage service standards is preferred.
Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
Must be able to lift and carry trays weighing ~40 pounds; English communication required.

Responsibilities

Greet and communicate with guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
Receive and process food and beverage orders from guests using a computerized guest check system.
Retrieve prepared orders from the kitchen and deliver to guests.
Carry and balance trays or pushcarts through kitchen and dining room (approximately 20–30 pounds).
Maintain cleanliness of all dining room areas.
Present checks to guests and collect payment or deliver to cashier.
