Job summary

Valor is seeking a culinary professional to prepare daily pantry items for guests and hotel clientele. You will follow recipes, set up stations, and ensure high quality and sanitary food production.

The role requires 3–6 months in food service, a high school diploma or culinary certificate preferred, and basic English. You will work with industrial ovens and ranges, maintain par levels, and support the kitchen team in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Culinary certificate or degree preferred.
• Three to six months in a food/beverage services environment.
• Strong knowledge of operating industrial sized ovens and cooking ranges.
• Understanding of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
• Manual coordination to handle food and containers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare culinary delights for guests and hotel clientele following recipes and standards.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary work environment and high quality of food appearance.
• Set up, rotate stock, check par levels, and assist in buffet preparation.
• Record usage and assist in controlling food costs and waste.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
