Job summary

Hartsfield Village Café Attendant in Indiana is the face of the café located within the Independent Living Building. You will work independently to run the café, prep gourmet soups, salads, sandwiches and other meals, and coordinate with the kitchen team.

You will operate the cash register and POS to process purchases by employees, residents, and guests. We seek individuals able to work independently or as a team, flexible and willing to complete tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, cash handling, and customer service required.

Responsibilities

• Prepping upscale sandwiches, salads, and grab-and-go items.
• Taking customer orders and providing excellent customer service at the café counter.
• Basic cashiering and operating the cash register/ POS system.
• Setting up, breaking down, and cleaning of designated work area.
