Job summary

The Outreach Team in Columbus, OH is seeking a GOTV Field Director to lead a 20-30 canvasser team across multiple Ohio districts ahead of the 2026 midterms. You will recruit, train, and manage staff, set goals, and ensure high-quality voter contact efforts.

You will also handle administrative duties, monitor progress, and go into the field several days a week to register voters, train staff, and help achieve office goals while upholding equity and safety across the team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 20-30 canvassers, set goals and hold staff accountable
• Train and motivate staff with ongoing support
• Identify, promote, and train a leadership team
• Build an inclusive team culture with equity and justice
• Implement quality control to ensure integrity of work
• Go into the field several days per week to register voters and train staff
• Maintain a safe working environment for all staff
• Develop strategic plans to reach target voters in assigned locations
• Manage administrative duties including reporting data, record keeping, payroll, and distributing materials
