Job summary

The Cushman & Wakefield GOS Client Accountant role supports the Finance team with core accounting, bill payment and processing, and financial record maintenance across databases and systems. You will work with the Finance Manager and Senior Accountant to ensure accurate tracking of expenditures, revenue, cash flow and related activity.

  • College degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience or equivalent.
  • Experience with Yardi or real estate accounting software; strong Excel and data analytics skills.

Job Title

GOS Client Accountant

Job Description Summary

The Accountant provides core accounting, bill payment and processing, financial support, and occasional administrative support to the Finance team, Procurement, and Facility Managers. Working closely with the Finance Manager and Senior Accountant, this role maintains and updates financial records in databases, spreadsheets, and accounting systems used to track expenditures, revenue, receipts, cash flow, and related financial activity.

Job Description Essential Job Duties
  • Perform Full Cycle Accounting to include analysis of accounts or accounting transactions.
  • Prepare and assist with cash management, AP and AR, Accruals and reconciliations.
  • Prioritize and maintain organization of a high-volume workload.
  • Prepare financial reporting packages timely and accurately in accordance with internal controls and client requirements; Includes prioritizing and maintaining high volume workload and productivity standards
  • Research and analyze using data management tools and spreadsheets.
  • Effectively communicate accounting issues and elevate appropriately.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, operation teams and corporate stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Apply appropriate procedures for preparation of accounting records, research of transactions, and reporting.
  • Apply the financial policies and procedures of the company and bring inconsistencies, problems, and recommendations to the attention of management.
  • Comply and assist with internal and external audits by providing appropriate documentation and information as requested.
  • Performs other related duties as required or requested.
Education / Experience / Training
  • College degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
Work Experience
  • Requires one to three of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Compensation
