Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc is seeking a Google Cloud Technical Lead/Lead Engineer to advance our Next-Gen Data Management platform on GCP. You will design and build highly available systems, lead engineering efforts, perform thorough code reviews, and coordinate cross-team deployments.

The role emphasizes hands-on infrastructure work, DevOps automation, and mentoring team members while ensuring secure, scalable data platform delivery across international projects.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or a related field.
At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience.
Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines and deployment/configuration management.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain highly available production systems.
Integrate solutions with other applications and platforms.
Perform in-depth code reviews to improve applications and ensure timely delivery.
Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline deployments.
Optimize system performance, availability, and scalability.
Collaborate with team members to improve tools, systems, and data security.
Write project documentation and conduct knowledge transfers.
