Job summary

ETHEREUM TECHNOLOGIES LLC in Dallas, TX, seeks an experienced backend/cloud engineer to design and implement scalable, event-driven integrations on Google Cloud Platform. You will establish API standards, build observability pipelines, and optimize architectures across regions using Terraform and Cloud Deploy.

The role emphasizes deep GCP expertise, distributed-system design, and proficiency with Python, Node.js, or Java.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years in backend/integration development or cloud engineering.
• Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform, especially:
• Strong background in distributed systems, API design, and message-driven architectures.
• Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Java.
• Familiarity with warehouse and ERP integration patterns (e.g., order orchestration, ASN, inventory sync).

Responsibilities

• Implement UIL using Cloud Run and GKE hybrid deployment models for scalable, event-driven integration.
• Implement event-driven workflows leveraging Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and containerized microservices.
• Establish and enforce API standards, error-handling conventions, and integration patterns across distributed systems.
• Implement and maintain observability pipelines with Cloud Logging, BigQuery, and Cloud Monitoring for auditability and performance analytics.
• Build and optimize DR and cost-efficient architectures across multiple regions using Terraform and Cloud Deploy.
• Continuously evaluate and improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.
