Job summary

Virtual Assistant Team is seeking a Google Ads Specialist to manage end-to-end campaigns, from strategy through reporting. You will set up campaigns across Search, Display, and Performance Max, conduct keyword research, and ensure accurate tracking.

You will provide well-explained weekly reports and guide clients through results and optimisations. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, collaboration with internal teams, and staying updated on Google Ads trends.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing Google Ads campaigns end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of Search, Display, Performance Max, and Remarketing.
• Proficient in Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and conversion tracking.
• Skilled in keyword research, audience targeting, and bid strategy optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Develop data‑driven Google Ads strategies aligned with client goals.
• Set up campaigns across Search, Display, Performance Max, Remarketing, and other relevant formats.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and audience targeting.
• Create compelling ad copy and ensure proper tracking setup (UTMs, conversions, analytics).
• Monitor daily performance and adjust bids, budgets, keywords, and targeting.
• Optimize campaigns for conversions, ROAS, CPA, CTR, and overall efficiency.
• Implement A/B tests for ads, landing pages, and targeting strategies.
• Identify performance trends and proactively recommend improvements.
• Prepare clear, well‑explained weekly performance reports for clients.
• Translate data into insights, highlighting wins, issues, and next steps.
• Track KPIs across Google Ads, Google Analytics, and other measurement tools.
• Ensure clients understand results, metrics, and the impact of optimizations.
• Communicate campaign updates, recommendations, and insights in a clear and approachable manner.
• Address client inquiries and explain Google Ads concepts, performance metrics, and strategies.
• Provide ongoing education to help clients understand how Google Ads supports their business goals.
• Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and transparency.
• Ensure campaigns follow Google Ads best practices and platform policies.
• Monitor for disapproved ads, policy violations, or tracking issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of campaign changes, strategies, and results.
• Work closely with internal teams (creative, content, web, operations) to support campaign needs.
• Stay updated on Google Ads trends, new features, and industry changes.
• Continuously refine strategies to improve client performance and satisfaction.
