Summary

Goodwill Store Associate may be trained on all non-management aspects of store operations. Under supervision, responsible for receiving donations, processing sales, displaying items, and maintaining a safe, clean environment.

Special Requirements

Regular weekend, holiday, and evening hours are typical. Must adhere to safety procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Sort, price, and display merchandise; meet production standards.
  2. Properly discard unsellable merchandise.
  3. Process used goods efficiently.
  4. Follow store rotation schedules.
  5. Provide quality customer service.
  6. Assist with store cleanliness and maintenance.
  7. Help customers locate merchandise and complete transactions.
  8. Accept donations and assist donors.
  9. Ensure safety and security measures are followed.
  10. Assist with loading/unloading trucks and shipping procedures.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred; 1-3 months related experience or training.

  • Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to operate handling equipment.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform manual tasks.

Work Environment
