Job summary

Wedgwood Christian Services is seeking a GLM program facilitator for residential care to support boys’ growth through structured GLM activities and PIT alignment.

You will co-facilitate groups, train staff, and tailor goals with goal workers to monitor progress and health outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold a preferred BA and have experience in residential care, with strong communication and adaptability for shift-based supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and relevant experience.
• Prior experience in residential care required.
• Must be at least 20 years old.
• Willingness to adhere to the Statement of Faith of Wedgwood Christian Services.

Job description

• Support the growth and development of boys in care through the Good Lives Model (GLM)
• Facilitate GLM programming and lead GLM-focused House Meetings
• Create agendas that encourage participation and ensure all voices are heard
• Train and support staff in co-facilitating groups
• Create and implement skills corresponding to the 8 GLM goals
• Collaborate with goal workers to write and assess GLM-focused goal reports
• Document each boy's progress and tailor goals to specific needs and deficits
• Facilitate Personal Improvement Time (PIT) and align programming with individual goals
• Monitor progress and provide feedback and support
• Adjust PIT programming as growth and progress is monitored
• Integrate GLM and Sanctuary principles into PIT assignments and everyday unit language
• Facilitate program groups, initiatives, and cooperatives with the specialty intervention team
• Design and implement therapeutic programs on and off campus
• Participate in and assist with therapeutic groups focused on personal growth and emotional health
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is preferred
• Applicant must be at least 20 years of age
• Prior experience in residential care required
• Subscription to the Statement of Faith of Wedgwood Christian Services and agreement with the goal, purpose, and objectives of the agency
• Regular, predictable, and reliable attendance
• Availability for 4 weekdays, primarily 2nd shift, and every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday, rotating 1st/2nd shift), with 1 admin day per week
