Fiddler's Elbow is seeking Golf Valet Attendants to provide valet, bag, and cart services to Members and guests at the outdoor pool area. The role emphasizes fast-paced interaction, safety, and teamwork in a luxury club environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Driver’s License, with strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor. Seasonal workloads and varied hours apply.

Responsibilities

• Open car doors and greet Members and Guests upon arrival.
• Monitor parking areas to ensure security standards.
• Move carts from cart barn to Pro Shop area.
• Remove bags from storage for Members.
• Manage keys for Members and Guests.
• Operate range picker daily to ensure golf balls are available.
• Maintain clean and orderly appearance of golf operation.
• Log and report problems with golf carts or bags to supervisor.
• Clean clubs for loading into cars or bag room.
• Return carts to charging stations or staging areas.
• Replenish tees, divot mix and pencils after cleaning.

We are looking for Golf Valet Attendants to join the Fiddler’s Family and share their passion for hospitality with our members, guests, and fellow staff members. Fiddler’s Elbow hosts a wide range of events from comedy shows and concerts to Fourth of July celebrations and New Year’s Eve festivities, our annual FiddleFest Music and Food Festival, Member White-Out Party, golf outings and sporting events. We also host smaller clubs within the Club, such as our beloved Book Club and Cigar Club. Our members host many private events like weddings, social events, and celebrations of life milestones.

The Golf Valet Attendant is responsible for providing valet, bag, and cart services to all Members and guests while meeting the needs of Members and Guests during their experience at Fiddler’s Elbow. This is an outdoor-based position at the Fiddler’s Pool that is fast-paced and involves constant customer interaction and creativity.

Essential Functions:

• Open car doors and greet Members and Guests upon arrival
• Monitor parking areas to ensure proper security standards are being met
• Bring carts from cart barn to proper location near Pro Shop
• Remove bags from bag storage in a timely fashion for Members
• Manage keys for Members and Guests
• Operate range picker daily to ensure there are always balls for use
• Maintain clean and orderly appearance in all areas of golf operation
• Log and report any problems on any golf cart, member bag, rental bag to supervisor
• Clean clubs to either load into car, or place in bag room for next outing
• Return carts to charging stations or staging areas
• Replenish tees, divot mix, and pencils as needed after cleaning

Required Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up 30+ pounds and sometimes up to 50 pounds
• Ability to handle many tasks at once
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift to perform job functions
• Must be able to safely and efficiently operate cars and golf carts
• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.

Working Conditions:
