Fiddler's Elbow in Bedminster, New Jersey, is seeking a Dishwasher to join the Fiddler’s Family. The role will ensure glassware, flatware, pots and dishes are cleaned to high standards and may assist with food preparation.

Responsabilités

• Ensure the kitchen is clean, maintained and organized at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of dish station and dish machine.
• Empty trash receptacles and transport trash to the disposal area.
• Clean equipment such as stoves, ovens, grills, refrigerators and slicers.
• Wash and clean walls, windows, doors.
• Organize storage of mops, brooms and other equipment.
• Receive and store supplies.
• Assist in plate up of banquet and other dishes.
• Assist in preparation of food when asked by supervisor.
• Report maintenance problems in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Adhere to sanitation guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.

We are looking for a Dishwasher to join the Fiddler’s Family and share their passion for hospitality with our members, guests, and fellow staff members. Fiddler’s Elbow hosts a wide range of events from comedy shows and concerts to Fourth of July celebrations and New Year’s Eve festivities, our annual FiddleFest Music and Food Festival, Member White-Out Party, golf outings and sporting events. We also host smaller clubs within the Club, such as our beloved Book Club and Cigar Club. Our members host many private events like weddings, social events, and celebrations of life milestones.

The Dishwasher plays an essential role in the overall functionality of the kitchen. They will be responsible for ensuring proper standards of cleanliness are met for glassware, flatware, pots, pans and dishes. Assistance with food preparation might also be included in responsibilities.

Essential Functions:

• Ensure the kitchen is clean, maintained and organized at all times
• Maintain cleanliness of dish station and dish machine
  • Drain, dry and stack items after washing
• Empty trash receptacles and transport trash to the disposal area
• Clean various pieces of equipment
  • Stoves, ovens, grills, refrigerators, slicers, etc. using appropriate cleaning solutions, brushes, wipes
• Wash and clean walls, windows, doors
• Organize storage of mops, brooms, vacuum cleaners and other equipment
• Receive and store supplies
• Assist in plate up of banquet and other dishes
• Assist in preparation of food when asked by supervisor
• Assist in maintaining overall cleanliness of outside kitchen area
• Report maintenance problems in an accurate and timely fashion
• Adhere to all sanitation guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor

Required Education/Experience:

• High School Graduate
• Minimum 6 months related experience

Required Qualifications:

• Must be able to work days , nights, weekends and holidays due to the nature of the business
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
• Must have reliable form of transportation
• No previous experience is required

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally lift objects weighing 50+ pounds, frequently lift objects weighing 15-20 pounds
• Utilization of both hands and arms
• Must be able to remain in a standing position for extended periods of time
• Constant walking and moving
• Frequently bend, stoop, climb, squat and lift

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work indoor and outdoor environments
• Must be able to work day and/or night hours, occasional long hours, weekends and holidays
• The conditions in the kitchen are sometimes hot, cold and humid
• Will encounter grease and waste as well as chemical cleaning agents
• Must use proper gloves, aprons, etc.
• Sharp knives, meat slicer, fryers and other kitchen equipment
