Job description

This position performs difficult technical work supervising the maintenance and development of our municipal golf course. The position is expected to ensure players experience a course and practice areas with excellent playing conditions and exceptional turf management. The position reports to the General Manager of Golf Operations.

• City of Elizabethton Tennessee
• Bachelor's degree in golf course turf management, Horticulture or Agronomy with a Turf Grass Major or equivalent; and considerable experience in the maintenance of golf courses, with at least two (2) years supervisory experience in course maintenance
• Category 3 Pesticides License from the Department of Agriculture
• Valid Driver License
