Job summary

Global Sports Jobs Limited is seeking an Event Executive to drive a national grassroots golf programme and manage partnerships for a luxury automotive client. You will coordinate 36 local qualifiers, plan activations, and support the client’s sponsorships with a focus on timely delivery and budget adherence.

The role demands golf/event experience, strong communication, and the ability to travel 20–45% domestically, with hybrid office days in Stamford, CT area.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of marketing/sponsorship experience.
• Experience with golf and/or event management.
• Strong communication, writing and client service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel domestically (20-45%).

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the client's grassroots golf programme, made up of 36 local qualifiers hosted throughout the U.S., including registering local dealerships, scheduling events with golf courses, event management and logistics, and programme reporting.
• Support the planning and execution of activations related to the client's PGA TOUR event sponsorship.
• Keep a pulse on golf industry trends and marketing tactics.
• Manage the client's customer concierge inbox of enquiries about the client's programmes, with support from the Account Trainee.
• Support the development of creative assets and consumer communications.
• Use problem-solving skills to address client challenges with impactful solutions.
• Support weekly status calls and other key meetings with both internal and external constituents, taking notes as necessary.
• Serve as a trusted and reliable agency contact for clients, internal colleagues and brand partners.
• Manage inventory of client sponsorship assets and activation materials throughout the year.
• Support vehicle logistics related to the client's sponsorships and activations, including onsite support where necessary.
• Ensure various partners are aligned and informed on timelines, and keep projects moving alongside target dates and budgets.
• Supervise the Account Trainee and/or temporary staff, when applicable.
