The City of High Point is seeking a Golf Shop Attendant to assist with daily operations and general maintenance at Blair Park Golf Course and Oak Hollow Golf Course. Responsibilities include managing golf carts, assisting with grillroom operations, and performing related work under supervision of the Golf Professional. Work schedule includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Tasks

1. Providing excellent customer service both in person and over the phone.
2. Collecting fees, receipts, and revenues.
3. Enforcing facility rules and regulations.
4. Assisting with tournament activities and group events.
5. Preparing and maintaining golf carts.
6. Maintaining cleanliness of the facility.
7. Assisting with range operations.
8. Serving food and concessions in the grillroom.
9. Cleaning and setting up tables and food service areas.
10. Adhering to OSHA and City safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Customer service experience.
• Computer proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of golf.

Physical Requirements

Includes hearing, speaking, visual acuity, depth perception, field of vision, and physical strength to perform duties such as running, jumping, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, water, trash, cleaning chemicals, and machinery. Compliance with OSHA standards is required.
