Job summary

Southworth is hiring a Golf Shop Attendant to deliver exceptional service to members and guests at our golf shop. You will assist customers with merchandise, process purchases, and maintain an inviting shop environment.

Role requires knowledge of golf equipment, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Weekend/holiday availability may be required at our country club.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior retail or customer service experience, preferably in a golf shop or related field.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Organizational skills with an attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers with a warm, professional demeanor and assist with golf merchandise selections.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system and ensure correct cash handling.
• Maintain clean, organized displays and replenish stock as needed.
• Provide information about tee times, services, and upcoming events.
• Schedule tee times, manage reservations, and coordinate club rentals.
• Collaborate with events team to support tournaments and outings.
• Stay informed on golf equipment trends and products.
