Westbrook Golf Club

Peoria, Arizona

Type of Facility: Private (Nov-April) Semi-Private (May-October) Member-Owned

Number of Holes: 36

Rounds of Golf: Average 100,000-110,000

About the Club:

Situated in the West Valley, Westbrook has grown to become a sought-after destination for membership-based retirement golf. Over the years, we've smoothly transitioned from a year-round semi-private club to an exclusive private facility operating from November to April. Our reputation has been solidified by a waitlist for membership over the past three seasons.

Our structure accommodates 630 annual memberships (which can include up to 2 people), with a select number of grandfathered memberships. This brings our total membership count to approximately 1,100.

Peak activity at Westbrook is from November to April, with both member and guest play. By May, we welcome the public, maintaining high activity levels until mid-June.

Unique in its structure, Westbrook is a member-owned golf club, free from affiliations with any management company or homeowners association. We have operated without a general manager for the past 13 years and thrived. Our operations are overseen by a board of 9 elected members who collectively perform the role of a general manager. Supporting the board are five key management positions: Golf, Greens & Grounds, Facilities, Admin/Finance, and Membership.

Westbrook is not just another golf club; we pride ourselves on being unique. Our commitment to exceptional customer service sets us apart. We prioritize direct interactions, often spending more time behind the counter and assisting members than many other clubs. And as technology pervades even niche industries like golf, our dedication shines as we consistently aid our retirement community members.

Club Amenities:
  • All-Inclusive Memberships: We pride ourselves on our all-inclusive memberships, a testament to which is our full membership with a waitlist for the past three seasons.
  • Two Unique 18-Hole Golf Courses: We offer two distinct 18-hole golf facilities, each equipped with its own range, golf shop, restaurant, and locker rooms. These facilities are conveniently located about 2 miles apart.
  • Third-Party Operated Restaurants: For a diverse dining experience, our restaurants are leased and managed by third-party vendors.
  • Member-Owned and Operated: Westbrook stands out as a golf club that is owned and run by its members. We maintain our independence and are not affiliated with any homeowners association (HOA) or management companies.
