Arcis Golf is seeking a part-time Golf Shop Assistant at Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, AZ. You will assist customers, manage tee times, handle merchandise, and support daily shop operations.

The role focuses on delivering exceptional service, operating POS systems, restocking, and coordinating with golf staff and events. Flexible weekend hours and a welcoming team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred; golf shop experience is a plus.
• Basic golf knowledge and familiarity with golf products.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable with computers, POS systems, and multi-line phones.
• Able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests warmly and professionally; provide knowledgeable assistance on merchandise, tee times, and policies.
• Operate the POS system for retail transactions and green fees; assist with display, restocking and inventory.
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Schedule tee times and manage the tee sheet; coordinate with starters and outside services.
• Answer phones and respond to inquiries; assist with opening/closing procedures.
• Collaborate with golf professionals and staff; support tournament operations as needed.

This position supports sales, merchandise management, tee time coordination, and general upkeep of the golf shop environment.
