Job description

Golf Service Attendant, Whistling Straits

Work Mode: Onsite

Location: Kohler, WI

Opportunity

Ensure that all guest pre-play and post-play needs are attended to in a timely and courteous manner. Care for and maintain on a daily basis, all Blackwolf Run and Whistling Straits property in car storage, bag room, and practice areas.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily transfer of golf bags between all Destination Kohler locations.
  • Prepare golf car staging area and outside service area for daily guest traffic.
  • Thoroughly clean all golf cars prior to and following use.
  • Clean, gas, and charge all golf cars following use.
  • Greet all incoming guests and offer any facility information.
  • Receive and set up all guest golf bags in accordance with tee time reservations.
  • Clean guest clubs prior to and following play.
  • Receive and tag guest golf bags for storage.
  • Record and issue rental clubs to guests.
  • Retrieve, clean, and re-stock practice balls daily.
  • Maintain adequate supply of practice balls.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the professional golf staff.

This is a seasonal position that will go through the end of the 2025 golf season. Employees must have the ability to work during the week and weekends. Shifts vary between 5:00 am - 10:00 pm.

Skills/Requirements

  • Must be friendly and outgoing.
  • Previous golf course operations experience helpful.
  • Must be 16 or older.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The hourly range for this position is $12.00. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
