Job summary

Edwin Watts Golf, part of Worldwide Golf Shops, seeks a part-time Golf Sales Associate to assist customers, promote products, and support in-store operations. Knowledge of golf equipment and friendly service are essential.

The role includes sales floor merchandising, inventory checks, and hands-on training. You will help customers choose equipment using launch monitors and simulators, participate in promotions, and contribute to a team-driven retail environment with flexible scheduling and

Qualifications

Golf knowledge/background is required.
Working knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, inventory, internet, and order processing systems.

Responsibilities

Maintain golf product knowledge, terminology, promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements.
Evaluate customers’ needs and recommend appropriate golf equipment.
Educate customers and compare product differences to aid decisions.
Operate launch monitor and golf simulator to provide data during in-store experience.
Assist with floor moves, merchandising and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to Worldwide Golf’s standards.
Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise and take stock inventory as needed.
Identify opportunities to improve processes after training.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
