Job summary

Worldwide Golf Shops in Walnut Creek, CA is seeking a Part-Time Golf Sales Associate to assist customers with product knowledge, assess needs, and recommend suitable golf equipment. You will operate in-store demo gear and help maintain a clean, organized sales floor.

Qualifications

• Golf knowledge/background is required.
• Experience in the golf industry is a plus; entry-level candidates will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an awareness of golf product knowledge, terminology, promotions, and promotions.
• Evaluate customers' needs, apply knowledge of equipment features and benefits, and make recommendations.
• Educate customers on products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide valuable data during in-store experience.
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean.
• Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise and take stock inventory.
• Once trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
