Edwin Watts Golf in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a part-time Golf Sales Associate to help customers, share golf product knowledge, and support in-store experiences.

You will operate launch monitor and golf simulator, assist with merchandising, and process stock while delivering outstanding service and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor. Prior golf industry knowledge is preferred.

Formación

• Golf knowledge/background is required.
• Experience in the golf industry is a plus (entry-level candidates will be considered).
• Ability to stand or move around the store including bending, stooping and lifting up to 15 pounds.
• Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, inventory, internet and order processing systems.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain knowledge of golf products, terminology, promotions, demo merchandise and sale ads.
• Evaluate customers' needs and recommend appropriate golf equipment.
• Educate customers on golf products and help them compare differences to make decisions.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator to provide data during in-store experience.
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising and keeping the sales floor clean and organized.
• Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise and take inventory as needed.
• Recognize and suggest process improvements after training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Description:

• Maintain an awareness of all golf product knowledge, terminology, merchandise promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements.
• Evaluate customers’ needs, apply knowledge of golf equipment features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf equipment for the customer.
• Educate customers on our golf products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during in-store experience
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf’s standards.
• Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and taking inventory of stock where needed.
• Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store. Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting (up to 15 pounds), carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis.
• Have a working knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, inventory, internet and order processing systems.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
