Job summary

Worldwide Golf—via Edwin Watts Golf—offers a Golf Sales Associate position in a fast-paced retail setting where you promote product knowledge and assist customers in selecting gear. You will work with launch monitors and golf simulators to provide data-driven insights during in-store experiences.

The role includes hands-on training, a strong employee discount, and opportunities for growth within a large golf retail network across many states.

Qualifications

• Golf knowledge/background is required
• Any experience working in the golf industry is a plus (entry-level candidates will also be considered!)

Responsibilities

• Maintain an awareness of golf product knowledge, terminology, merchandise promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements.
• Evaluate customers’ needs, apply knowledge of golf equipment features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf equipment for the customer.
• Educate customers on our golf products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during in-store experience.
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf’s standards.
• Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and taking inventory of stock where needed.
• Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
