Job summary

Golf & Ski Warehouse in Hudson, NH seeks a Full-Time Golf & Ski Retail Associate to promote our store culture and provide expert product guidance. You will help customers choose equipment, explain features, and run in-store demos using launch monitors and simulators.

Base pay plus commission, paid vacation, 401(k) matching, and health benefits with company HSA contributions are offered. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Golf knowledge and/or ski knowledge preferred but not required.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Familiarity with basic computer programs for inventory and sales processes.
• Ability to work varied hours, including one weekend day.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of golf and ski products and promotions.
• Evaluate customers’ needs and recommend appropriate equipment.
• Educate customers and help compare differences to aid decisions.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator to provide data during in-store experiences.
• Assist with floor movement, merchandising, and store cleanliness.
• Research merchandise availability and requisition stock as needed.
• Identify process improvements as trained and raise recommendations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a store culture aligned with Worldwide Golf’s values, including the “Sure No Problem” philosophy
• Maintain knowledge of golf and ski products, terminology, promotions, demo merchandise, and sale advertisements
• Evaluate customers’ needs and recommend appropriate golf and ski equipment
• Educate customers on products and help compare differences to support informed decisions
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide data during in-store experiences
• Assist with floor movement, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet standards
• Research merchandise availability via computer databases; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and take inventory as needed
• As fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Golf knowledge and/or ski knowledge is preferred but not required; avid enthusiasts are welcomed, industry experience is not required
• Ability to stand or move around the store; physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting up to 15 pounds, carrying, walking, and reaching frequently
• Working knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, inventory, internet, and order processing systems
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates, including one day on the weekend
