Worldwide Golf Shops LLC is seeking a Golf Sales Associate for Edwin Watts Golf stores in Savannah, GA. You will promote a friendly store culture, maintain golf product knowledge, and help customers select equipment.

Responsibilities include evaluating customer needs, explaining product benefits, and using launch monitors and simulators to provide data during in-store experiences. You’ll assist merchandising and stock management and seek process improvements.

Qualifications

• Golf knowledge/background required.
• Experience in the golf industry is a plus; entry-level candidates considered.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 15 pounds.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Responsibilities

• Maintain golf product knowledge, promotions, and sales signage.
• Evaluate customers’ needs and recommend appropriate golf equipment.
• Educate customers and help them compare differences to make educated decisions.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator to provide data during in-store experiences.
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keep the sales floor organized.
• Research merchandise availability, requisition stock, and assist with inventory.
• Identify ways to improve processes after training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Description:

The Golf Sales Associate at Edwin Watts Golf is responsible for promoting and maintaining a store culture that is consistent with Worldwide Golf’s values, including the “Sure No Problem” philosophy. Responsibilities include:

Maintain an awareness of all golf product knowledge, terminology, merchandise promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements.

Evaluate customers’ needs, apply knowledge of golf equipment features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf equipment for the customer.

Educate customers on our golf products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.

Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during in‑store experience

Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf’s standards.

Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and taking inventory of stock where needed.

Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.

Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store. Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting (up to 15 pounds), carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis.

Have a working knowledge of word‑processing, spreadsheet, inventory, internet and order processing systems.

Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Qualifications Desired:

Golf knowledge/background is required

Any experience working in the golf industry is a plus (entry‑level candidates will also be considered!)
