Job summary

Worldwide Golf is seeking a Golf Sales Associate for Edwin Watts Golf in Florida. You will promote a store culture aligned with our values, greet customers, assess needs, explain golf equipment features, and suggest best options. You’ll use launch monitors and simulators during in-store experiences, keep the floor organized, and participate in stock checks and merchandising.

Qualifications

• Golf knowledge/background is required.
• Experience in the golf industry is a plus; entry-level candidates considered.
• Ability to stand, move around the store, and lift up to 15 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a store culture consistent with Worldwide Golf’s values.
• Evaluate customers’ needs, explain golf equipment features, and recommend products.
• Educate customers on golf products and help compare options to inform decisions.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator to provide data during in-store experiences.
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized.
• Research merchandise availability, requisition stock, and conduct inventory as needed.
• Support process improvements and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

The Golf Sales Associate at Edwin Watts Golf is responsible for promoting and maintaining a store culture that is consistent with Worldwide Golf’s values, including the “Sure No Problem” philosophy. Responsibilities include:

• Maintain an awareness of all golf product knowledge, terminology, merchandise promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements.
• Evaluate customers’ needs, apply knowledge of golf equipment features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf equipment for the customer.
• Educate customers on our golf products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during in‑store experience.
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf’s standards.
• Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and taking inventory of stock where needed.
• Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store. Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting (up to 15 pounds), carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis.
• Have a working knowledge of word‑processing, spreadsheet, inventory, internet and order processing systems.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Qualifications Desired

• Golf knowledge/background is required.
• Any experience working in the golf industry is a plus (entry‑level candidates will also be considered).
