Edwin Watts Golf, part of Worldwide Golf Shops LLC, is hiring a Golf Sales Associate to promote a customer‑focused store culture and deliver expert golf product guidance. You will help customers select equipment, operate launch monitor tech, and participate in stocking and merchandising tasks to maintain a top‑tier sales floor.

The role emphasizes product knowledge, strong customer service, and a willingness to learn the Worldwide Golf way through hands‑on training and discounts on gear.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and move around the store for long periods.
• Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, inventory, internet & order processing systems.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a store culture consistent with Worldwide Golf's values.
• Maintain golf product knowledge, promotions, demo merchandise and sales ads.
• Evaluate customers’ needs and recommend appropriate golf equipment.
• Educate customers on products and help them compare options.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator for data during in-store experience.
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keep sales floor organized and clean.
• Research merchandise availability, requisition stock from the stockroom, and take inventory.
• Recognize opportunities to improve processes after training.

Job Description

The Golf Sales Associate at Edwin Watts Golf is responsible for promoting and maintaining a store culture that is consistent with Worldwide Golf's values, including the "Sure No Problem" philosophy. Responsibilities include:

Maintain an awareness of all golf product knowledge, terminology, merchandise promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements.

Evaluate customers’ needs, apply knowledge of golf equipment features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf equipment for the customer.

Educate customers on our golf products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.

Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during in-store experience

Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf’s standards.

Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and taking inventory of stock where needed.

Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.

Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store. Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting (up to 15 pounds), carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis.

Have a working knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, inventory, internet and order processing systems.

Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Qualifications Desired

Golf knowledge/background is required

Any experience working in the golf industry is a plus (entry-level candidates will also be considered!)
